Well, it had to happen eventually: the tar sands video game. Developed by the Polaris Institute, one can find “Tar Nation” at www.tarnation.ca.

I was pretty excited when I received the news release this morning, looking forward to playing a work-related video game. I loaded it up and was a bit confused as to what to do, figuring out eventually that I was supposed to shoot oil at the images of Stephen “Tarper” and Micheal “Oilrignatieff.”

Maybe I’m just bad at stuff like this, but, disappointed, I gave up fairly quickly because I couldn’t figure out the objective.

Anyone else?
